How to Order

Please order by 8.45pm MONDAY for a delivery the same week.

If you wish to CANCEL a delivery please also do so by 8.45pm on a MONDAY.


Placing an Order

We've tried to make the ordering process as simple and as quick as possible. Here are the easy steps:

  1. Click on the 'Shop Now' button
  2. Scroll through the products and click 'Add' as required. You can add as many items as you wish to your order by repeating this step.
  3. When you have finished adding products to your 'basket' click 'View' to see the contents of your order.
  4. Here you can amend quantities, delete items and SELECT THE FREQUENCY with which you wish your items to be delivered.
  5. IMPORTANT - Make sure you click 'Update' to save any changes you have made.
  6. Click 'Check Out' to either log in as a returning customer or register your details for the first time.
  7. You can enter any special delivery instructions or other comments at this stage.
  8. Click 'Next'
  9. Now select the payment method, either credit or debit card or Cash / Cheque on delivery.
  10. Click 'Next'
  11. Depending on your choice of payment please follow the associated on-screen instructions.
  12. Complete your purchase and a confirmation email will be sent to you immediately for your records.

Secure Ordering & Payment

Our secure payment facility has been provided by SecPay and Barclays Merchant Services

The system is both simple and secure and hopefully you will find it easy to use.

For your peace of mind we never see your card details and your details are never stored by Somerfield-Smith Ltd..

If you set up a regular, repeat delivery the payment method you select for your first delivery will be the payment method used for all subsequent deliveries (be that credit/debit card or cash/cheque on delivery). If you elect to pay by credit/debit card your payment details will be held by SecPay and each of your regular deliveries will be charged to your credit/debit card AFTER your order has been completed and delivered. This ensures that your card is only charged for the items delivered and ensures you are not charged for any out of stock items.

As stated above, your card details are held securely by SecPay for your future deliveries, the card details of which are not viewable or available to Somerfield-Smith Ltd..
